Chelsea Prepares For Life After Hazard, Readies Hefty Fee For Argentine Attacker

Argentine winger and English Premier League, EPL, star has caught the attention of Chelsea, as the Blues prepare for life after Eden Hazard.
According to reports, Chelsea hierarchy have already instructed their scouting departments to put together a list of summer targets with a particular focus on possible replacements for Hazard.
With Hazard yet to put pen to paper on a new deal, the future of the Belgian remains uncertain in the wake of keen interest from Real Madrid.
Seeing that they could lose Hazard on a free if he doesn’t sign a contract renewal, Chelsea might be forced to sell their most valued asset on or before next summer, leaving  them needing a replacement on the wing.
To that effect, Watford’s Roberto Pereyra has been identified as the right replacement.
Now 27-year-old, Pereyra is being talked about by the Stamford Bridge hierarchy as someone who could come and hit the ground running in the Premier League.
Citing a source close to the situation, TEAMtalk reports: “Pereyra is performing like he was when he earned a move to Juventus, but now he is doing it in the Premier League – Watford won’t stand in his way, but will require a hefty fee.”
It’s understood that the Argentinian attacking midfielder arrived in August 2016 and was told by the Pozzo family that he could use his move as a stepping stone back to the big time.
He has scored five goals in 11 games this season, on the back of five goals last term and is under contract until 2021.
