Guardiola Leaving Man City For International Management

Pep Guardiola has cast a huge doubt over his future at Manchester City after revealing that he is exploring the option of venturing into international management 'sooner or later'.

The former Barcelona coach was in Liverpool at an academic conference in which he underlined the importance of exploring new cultures 'every two or three years'. Guardiola is on his third season at Manchester City and has won the 2018 English Premier League and a League Cup.

Guardiola revealed that his is looking to become an international manager, “I would like to be an international manager in a national team. I would like that, yes," he said at the conference at Liverpool University. It will happen because every three days I would like to be involved but a little bit more calm, play more golf, now I don't have time to play.”

The former Bayern Munich manager added the move would come soon, “Sooner or later it is going to happen, if I have chance with an international team, if they come knocking at my door.”
