Why KNEC Boss Wants All Porn Sites In Kenya Shut Down

The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) boss George Magoha wants all pornography sites blocked in the country.

Speaking on Wednesday at the Nairobi School, Prof Magoha blamed the pregnancy crisis being witnessed in schools across the country to the fact that some of these young girls have easy access to porn sites.

Cases of teenage pregnancies spiraled during this year’s schools’ national examinations.

Prof Magoha also blamed parents for the reported cases.

“The shame that we are getting pregnant girls all over the place implies there is absolute moral decadence among parents and it is a high time we produce children that we have time for,” he said.

He also accused leaders in the country for their failure to talk to girls about family planning, saying it is high time to introduce reproductive health lessons in schools to help curb the menace.
