Banky W Calls For Nigerian Army’s Investigation After Three Men Were Reportedly Harassed By Soldiers For keeping Afros

Nigerian singer, actor and Federal House of Representatives aspirant, Bankole Wellington aka Banky W, has reacted to an allegation that Nigerian Army officers reportedly harassed three men for keeping Afros.

The incident as shared by a Twitter user @eketiette reportedly happened Monday, December 17th, in Enugu where the young men were subsequently made to shave each other’s hair under the supervision of the uniformed men.

Reacting to the story on Wednesday morning, Banky called on the Army authorities to respond to the claims while stating that the military was supposed to serve and protect citizens, not humiliate them

”@HQNigerianArmy please will you respond to this??? The military is supposed to serve and protect the people. Not harass, humiliate and torture them. Pls respond.

The Nigerian Army has however not responded to Banky, neither has it addressed the allegation which has been going round.
