HAZARD HAS ARRIVED Eden Hazard scores stunning first goal for Real Madrid

Eden Hazard scored his first goal in spectacular fashion for Real Madrid to earn them a 1-0 pre-season victory over Red Bull Salzburg.

Hazard joined Real from Chelsea earlier this summer for a fee of £130million, with the Belgian international coming under scrutiny for his sub-par performances.

While he has been accused of being overweight and lacking fitness, Hazard looked far more impressive in Austria on Wednesday.

In their penultimate preparation match before attention turns to La Liga, the Belgian cut in from the left, effortlessly went past a defender, before firing in on 19 minutes.

Clearly lifted by that strike, Hazard went in search of a second and nearly had it, but his effort was well saved by Cican Stankovic.

Fans were delighted to see the diminutive attacker turn in his best display since swapping west London for Madrid and were waxing lyrical about him on social media.
